New diamond grinding wheel from Eagle International offers four grit sequences to provide the ultimate in material removal rates and mirror finish. Available for Vollmer, Akemat, UT.MA, Walter, and Wright top grinders in diameters from 5" to 8" (125 - 200 mm). Eagle’s new premium QUAD GRIT wheels offer the following features:

Compared to a triple grit wheel, the new Quad Grit offers higher material removal rates and a finer finish. By adding a 4th grit, Eagle is able to (1) use a coarser initial grit to maximize material removal, and (2) allow closer sequencing between grit sizes to ensure all grinding marks are removed.

Grit # 1: extra coarse grit for maximum material removal
Grit # 2: medium coarse grit grinds out marks left by 1st grit
Grit # 3: fine grit grinds out marks left by 2nd grit
Grit # 4: extra fine grit leaves a mirror finish and super sharp edge
